A new ensemble project from producer Chris Bangs, NOVA VIDA debuts on vinyl on BDQ records with a tasty brazilian samba for the dancefloor. Only One comes in 2 delectable flavours , a super sweet vocal version featuring Brazilian chanteuse KLEI and a spicy guitar instrumental featuring Argentinian ace FERMIN.
Only One was originally sung by French Siren Danielle Brisbois. Chris heard a snippet a restaurant scene in the film As Good As It Gets, Bangsy’s ears picked up and he thought I’m going to do something with it someday.
A full on production job was the order of the day, vocals from KLEI , guitars from Fermin and a staggering piano solo and rhodes from Italy's finest, Abramo Riti.
NOVA VIDA is a unique project encompassing some amazing new talent from all the corners of planet earth, as you will hear in the forthcoming CBI Recordings vinyl album for spring 2024 “ A Song For Everyone “.
11 amazing songs that have been on Bangsy’s all time fave list with a strong Brazilian vibe running through most of it with some passing influences from Yacht Rock , Bossa and some cool Balearic bits too.
